COURSE
IF GOD DID EXIST WHAT
WOULD YOU ASK? What’s the meaning of life? Why am I here? Is there
more to life than this? Who cares? Why is there suffering in the
world? Do all religions lead to God? Is there life after death?
Are YOU asking some of
these questions? If your answer is yes, or if you’ve never thought
about them but think you should, then why not try the ALPHA COURSE.
Over 1.5 million people completed the Alpha Course around the world in
2007, 192,000 in the U.K. Now is your opportunity to find out what it’s
all about!
Every Thursday for 12
weeks, beginning on October 2nd, the Alpha Course will be
running at the Minster View Hotel, Howden. Come along at 7.15pm, buy a
drink at the bar, enjoy a free supper, watch a talk on DVD, then over
coffee discuss, ask questions, share your point of view with other
people. People come to Alpha from many different backgrounds and hold
many different viewpoints. Evenings end at approx. 9.45pm.
Alpha
stands for:-
A – Anyone (any age, background,
nationality)
L – Learning and Laughter (lots of jokes
and good fun)
P – Pasta i.e. food, (sandwiches, quiche,
cheese, coffee etc.)
H – Helping each other (answering
questions, helping to solve problems.)
A – Ask anything (no question is too
small, big, silly or unimportant.)
