Below are three scripture plans which give all the basic information necessary for a person to come to an understanding of who Jesus is and of His great gift of salvation.

To use them effectively start with the first scripture and move down the column. Think of how these truths have changed your life.

Romans Ch 4 vs 23

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God

Proverbs

Ch 14 vs 12

There is a way that seems right to man,

but in the end it leads to death.

1 Timothy

Ch 2 vs 3-5

...God our saviour, who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,...

John Ch 3 vs 16

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in his shall not perish but have eternal life.

1 John Ch 1 vs 9

If we confess our sins he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

1 John

Ch 5 vs 11,12

And the is is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.

Isaiah Ch 59 vs 2

But iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear.

Hebrews Ch 9 vs 14,15

How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God!

For this reason Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance - now that he has died as a ransom to set them free from the sins committed under the first covenant.

John Ch 1 vs 12

Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God - children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God.

1 Peter Ch 1 vs 3,4

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade - kept in heaven for you,...

Ephesians Ch 2 vs 8,9

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this is not through yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so that no-one can boast.

Romans Ch 6 vs 23

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans Ch 5 vs 12

...sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all men, because all have sinned...

Romans Ch 5 vs 8

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Romans Ch 10 vs 9-13

If you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord" and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and you are saved.

Anyone who trusts in him (Jesus) will never be put to shame.

The Lord richly blesses all who call on him, for everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.

How to receive Jesus as your Lord and Saviour

.

The most important relationship of your life is a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. If you would like to receive him as your Lord and Saviour, and enter into the greatest relationship you have ever known, please pray the prayer below.

Heavenly Father I am sorry for the things I have done wrong in my life.

Please forgive me.

I now turn from everything which I know is wrong.

Thank you that you sent your Son, Jesus, to die on the cross for me so that I could be forgiven and set free.

From now on I will follow and obey him as my Lord.

Thank you that you now offer me this gift of forgiveness and your Spirit.

I now receive that gift.

Please come into my life by your Holy Spirit to be with me forever.

Through Jesus Christ, our Lord.

Amen

Committing your life to Jesus is only the start. Jesus wants you to know him more closely than your best friend. Today you've started that journey, you will need help and guidance. Help comes from reading the Bible, praying and spending time with other Christians. We encourage you to find a church close by where you feel comfortable and biblical principles are taught.
