The history of Howden Methodist Church dates back to the

16 hundreds. However, the building we currently worship in was previously a school room. This is a picture of the old church.

           
 

In the 1960's the school room was converted into a small chapel. Since then people have prayed and worshiped there for 47 years. This is what it looks like now.

           
 

This is the room where the children were taught. It was redecorated in 2006. Behind the lively posters and the colouring are some black boards.

We use this room as a coffee room for after TGI and before the Traditional Service.
